Fairie-ality

My parents got me this book by the illusive Ellwand for my birthday sometime during my middle school years, and it was one of those books that I used to sit in my room with for hours, flipping back and forth through, taking every little bit in. It has elements of almost everything I love - miniatures, faeries, fantasy, fashion, story-telling, typography... If only I could fit into one of Ellwand's exquisitely designed gowns!

Also, note to self: must fix blog layout so image isn't size of postage stamp. Image kind of the whole point of blog.

Lets get it started!

It seems like the cool thing to do these days is to blog... especially for us "artists." I've been running across more and more inspiration-type blogs lately, and thought it might be fun to give it a try. I have my own sources of inspiration, and keeping a blog might be a nice, compact way to organize it all. Kind of like a sketchbook, except digital... (I have such mixed feelings about the world becoming so digitized.) I'll probably focus some on my own work as well, seeing as I am an artist-student, and artists should be public, and the interwebs are almost as public as you can get... Anyway, enough from me for now! I'm excited to see where this thing goes.
